《It’s windy today》教案

一、教学内容

湘教版四年级下册第四单元《It's windy  today》的第一课时。

二、教学目标

1、知识目标：学会表示天气状况的五个单词rainy sunny windy  cloudy hot cold，会用这六个单词播报中国城市的天气状况。即How is the weather in Xuchang?”“It's  sunny in Xuchang”这一类型的句式。

2、能力目标：①要求全体学生脱口说出表示天气的六个单词；②大部分同学能用这些单词进行中国城市天气情况问答。③能力强的同学还能拓展播报中国城市天气。④会唱关于天气的英语歌并能做简单.

3、情感目标：了解天气变化情况，适当着装，利于出行、工作、学习，确保身体健康。

五、教学过程。

Step 1  Free talk :

T:Hello,How are you ?I am Miss Chen .Nice to meet you !

Step 2  Listening to a song.

Play the song “How is the weather”

(歌曲“How is the weather”的播放能够迅速缓解孩子们的紧张情绪，并带动他们学英语的情绪，并对本课的主要内容是一个好的引入。)

Step3   Presentation and teach the key words.
1.T:Look,How is the weather?

S:Sunny.

T:Sunny sunny . It`s sunny.

(课件呈现，卡片教学。多媒体展示不同天气情况的图片让孩子们对天气情况有直观的感受和理解。并采取领读，跟读，韵律读等方式学习六个表示天气的单词，在学单词的同时渗透短句“It’s sunny.”

2.T:Where is it?

S:It’s Xuchang..

T: How is the weather in Xuchang?

S:It's  sunny in Xuchang

(图片出示四个中国典型城市的图片，让学生猜地名并说出当地天气如何，适时引入句型How is the weather in Xuchang?”“It's  sunny in Xuchang”并进行恰当的练习。练习形式可以是学生单独汇报，同桌互练，chant诵读等.)

3.Chant:

How is the weather in Xuchang?

Sunny sunny  sunny. It's  sunny in Xuchang

Step4. Games.

T:Where is it?

S:It’s Shanghai.

T: How is the weather in Shanghai?

S:It's  sunny in Shanghai.

(利用游戏练习巩固句型。用同心圆转盘分别让学生同桌互问互答不同城市的不同天气情况，可以检查学生的掌握情况又可以使课堂积极性高涨。)
