Where are you from》教学设计

教学目标:

1. 听懂会说有关国家的词:ChinaCanada,India,the US,the UK.能熟练运用“Where are you from?Where is he/she from?句型及回答。

2. 使学生能够了解五个国家的英文名称,并了解他们的国旗。

3. 学生会用英文表达对祖国的热爱之情。

教学重点:

学生能够熟练运用where are you from?Where is she from? Where is he from? 句型问答,能够熟知五个国家的国旗。

教学难点:

掌握Where is he/she from?句型。

教学步骤

Step1 Warming-up

Greetings:

 How are you?

What’s your name?

 How old are you? 

Can you play football?

 Can you swim?

Teacher:I can swim. I like Sun Yang.He swims very, very fast. Where is he from? He is from Hangzhou. Hangzhou is a beautiful city. Xuchang is a beautiful city, too. Look. I'm from Xuchang. 

    

设计意图

由师生简单的英语对话,把学生带入轻松的英语学习氛围,使学生尽快融入课堂。同时,也为后面拓展环节自我介绍做好铺垫。由自己家乡许昌引出I'm from. 贴近学生生活,使学生有一种亲近感。潜移默化教育学生爱家乡。

Step2 Presentation

  1. Teacher:Wherever you come from We are all from China. China is a great country. Today We are going to talk about countries. Do you know COUNTRY(出示汉语意思)?

  1. T: There are many countries in the world. Do you know how many countris in the world? Look, There are 193 countries in the world. I'm from China.. Where are you from?

S1/S2…: I’m from…

设计意图

直奔主题country,引出I’m from China。让学生了解世界上有多少个国家,增长他们的知识。引出新句型Where are you from? 从学生生活实际出发倍感亲切、自然、兴趣浓,更容易接受,效果好。词不离句,操练重点句型。

设计意图:词不离句,句不离词,操练本课重点句型。

  1. Game:Which is missing?

设计意图:吸引学生注意力,及时了解学生四会单词的掌握情况。

Teacher: there are many countries in the world. We are one family.we hope there is no war in the world and t’s full of love and peace.

设计意图:单词句型生成后,勾勒出房子轮廓,象征我们在一个世界,就像是一个大家庭,希望世界上永远没有战争,充满爱与和平。

Step3:Practice.

1. Game :Where are you from?I'm from...

请一学生到讲台前,将一张卡片放置其身后。其余学生齐声问Where are you from? 此学生猜测并说:I am from. ..他有三次机会。猜对者为本组加一分。

2. Where is he/she from?

 Teacher. We come from different cities. Can you speak your local languages? Now I want someone to speak local languages. You guess, where is he/She from?

学生猜测学说:She/He is from…

Ss Practice in three.

A:Where are you from?

B:I am from. ..

A:Where is she from?

C:She is from. ..

设计意图

让学生说方言,让其他同学猜,既活跃了课堂气氛,又巩固了刚学的新句型。学生模仿方言,(学生有模仿广州话,上海话,四川话)其他学生在猜的过程中,操练本课难点句型,同时了解中国语言的博大精深。三人小组练习,把 Where are you from? Where is she from? 放在一起练习。有助于学生更好区分第二人称和第三人称的不同用法。

Step 4Consolidation

Teacher: Zhoulin goes to the winter camp. He meets many friends. Let's meet his friends. Listen to the conversation. Listen to it once again.And then answer the questions.

 

1.Where is Mike from?

2.Where is Tim  from?

3.Where is Lalil from i.?

Step5Extension

设计意图:将今天所学知识与原来所学知识融会贯通。有助于学生习得英语,掌握系统知识。

  1. Teacher.:We are all from China.China is GREAT. Look at the PPT. October the first is the birthday of our country. How about China now? 70 years passed. Now we have a prosperous motherland.Our country is getting stronger and stronger. We hope our country will always be prosperous and strong.

3.教学生手语舞:I love you, China. I'm proud of you.

设计意图

利用国庆阅兵的一些视频,与学生分享祖国70年巨变。教授手语,对学生进行爱国主义教育。教授手语舞:我爱你中国,我为你自豪。以新颖的方式结束本节课。

Step5Homework

1. 用英文采访亲朋好友:Where are you from?

2. 制作一个英文书签表达对祖国的热爱之情。

3. 查阅资料,认识世界上更多不同的国家,简单了解一个国家的基本情况。

设计意图:巩固本节课所学重点,也通过动手实践爱国主义教育;查阅资料,拓展知识,注重知识的融合,利于学生全面发展。
